Where we ship

We ship to all 50 U.S. states, including APO/FPO addresses. We do not currently ship internationally.

Cost and timing

• Standard — free on orders over $99, otherwise $8.00. Arrives in 3–5 business days.
• Express — $24.00. Arrives in 1–2 business days.

Orders placed on a business day before 2:00 PM ship the same day. Orders placed later, or on a weekend or holiday, ship the next business day. Delivery estimates start the day the carrier collects the parcel, not the day you order.

Tracking

You get a tracking number by email the moment your parcel leaves us. If tracking has not moved in two business days, contact us and we will chase the carrier ourselves.

Lost, late, or damaged

If a parcel is lost in transit or arrives damaged, tell us within 30 days of the ship date and we will replace it or refund it in full. We handle the carrier claim; that is not your job.

Restricted destinations

Some products cannot lawfully be shipped to certain states or municipalities. Where a restriction applies it is noted on the product page. If an order cannot be lawfully shipped to your address, we cancel and refund it in full before charging you.

The 60-day field trial

Use the gear. Mount it, carry it, take it out in weather. If it is not right for you, send it back within 60 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price. No restocking fee, and no interview about why.

What we need back

Return the item with everything it shipped with — mounts, hardware, wrenches, batteries, and the box. Normal field use is expected and fine. Items broken through abuse or modification fall under the guarantee instead of the trial.

How to start a return

Email kdredoubt@gmail.com with your order number and what you are sending back. We reply with a prepaid return label within one business day. Please do not ship anything back without a label — we cannot track it, and we cannot refund what we cannot find.

Refunds

Once your return arrives we inspect it and issue the refund within 3 business days, to the original payment method. Your bank typically posts it within another 5–10 days. Original shipping charges are refunded when the return results from our error or a defective item.

Exchanges

The simplest path is a refund plus a fresh order, so you are never waiting on stock to line up. If you would rather we swap it directly, ask and we will arrange it.

Cancellations

If your order has not shipped yet, contact us and we will cancel and refund it in full immediately.

What is covered

Hardware we sell is covered against defects in materials and workmanship for as long as you own it. If a mount cracks, a spring fails, a finish lifts, or a mechanism stops doing its job under normal use, we make it right — repair first, replace when repair is not sensible.

What is not

• Cosmetic wear — scratches, holster marks, and the patina that comes from actually using the thing.
• Damage from abuse, accident, unauthorised modification, or disassembly beyond what the manual describes.
• Consumables such as batteries.
• Loss or theft.

Manufacturer warranties

Every item we stock is factory-new and carries its maker's own warranty in full — Magpul, Vortex, SIG SAUER, and Walker's each stand behind their products directly, and several offer their own unlimited lifetime terms. Our guarantee sits alongside theirs; it never replaces or reduces them. Where the manufacturer's remedy is the better one, we will tell you and help you file it.

Making a claim

Email kdredoubt@gmail.com with your order number, what failed, and a photo if the fault is visible. No receipt hunt required if you bought it from us — we have the record.

How fast we answer

Every message gets a reply from a person within one business day. Order problems, returns, and guarantee claims are answered first.

What to include

For anything about an existing order, send your order number (it begins with KDR-) and a sentence about what went wrong. For guarantee claims, add a photo if the fault is visible. For “which one do I need” questions, tell us the rifle and what you are trying to do — that gets you a straight answer instead of a catalog link.

What we collect

Only what an order actually requires: your name, email address, shipping address, and the contents of your order. If you subscribe to Field Notes, we keep your email address for that purpose.

What we never see

We do not collect, process, or store your card details. Payments are handled entirely on Stripe's hosted checkout. Your card number never touches this website or our systems. Stripe's handling of that data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

How we use it

To process and ship your order, to handle returns and guarantee claims, to answer your questions, and — only if you asked for it — to send Field Notes. That is the whole list.

Who we share it with

Our payment processor (Stripe) and our shipping carriers, each only to the extent needed to take payment and deliver your parcel. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We disclose information otherwise only where the law requires it.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from Field Notes using the link in any letter. You may ask us what data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — email us and we will act within 30 days. Order records we are required to keep for tax or legal reasons may not be deletable, and we will say so plainly if that applies to you.

Cookies

This site keeps your cart in your own browser's local storage so it survives a refresh. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

This store is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Agreement

By placing an order with KD Redoubt Gear Co. you agree to these terms, together with our shipping, returns, privacy, and guarantee policies.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to purchase and possess the items you order in your jurisdiction. Firearm accessories are regulated differently from state to state and city to city; you are responsible for knowing and following the law where you live. By ordering, you confirm you may lawfully receive what you have bought.

What we sell

We sell optics, mounts, backup sights, bipods, slings, and hearing protection. We do not sell firearms, ammunition, receivers, frames, or NFA-regulated items. All goods are factory-new and sourced through authorised channels.

Pricing and availability

Prices are in U.S. dollars. The total shown at checkout is the total you pay — no fees are added afterwards. We work hard to keep pricing and stock accurate, but errors happen. If an item is mispriced or out of stock after you order, we contact you and cancel and refund in full rather than quietly substitute or overcharge.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy, accepted when we ship it. We may decline or cancel an order — with a full refund — where we suspect fraud, where we cannot lawfully ship to your address, or where a pricing error occurred.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through Stripe. Your card is charged when the order is placed.

Limitation of liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and none of it affects your statutory consumer rights.

Safety

Install and use all equipment according to its manufacturer's instructions, and follow safe firearm handling practices at all times. We are not liable for injury or damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, or unsafe handling.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you place your order.
